Above and Beyond (A&B) is an interdenominational youth ministry run by youth, for youth. Associated with the Youth For Christ of Listowel, Ontario, A&B itself is a youth service held the first Sunday of every month in the large gym at Listowel District Secondary School (LDSS).

Although originally intended as a worship service for the various youth groups of the Listowel churches, A&B has expanded to become much more then that. Many of the current attendees of A&B come from churches outside the area, or from no church at all. Regardless of where they come from, however, all agree that A&B rocks!

The desire of A&B is for the service to be as outreach oriented as possible and yet still offer a rich worship service for the many christians in attendance. To that end we have an all-youth worship band who leads in worship for 30 - 45 minutes. Following the band a guest speaker (usually someone from out of the area who works with youth) delivers a powerful message challenging Christians and non-Christians alike. Then it's back to the band to wrap up the evening with closing worship.

In all, A&B is a live event that must be experienced in order to be fully understood. The focus of every aspect of A&B is Christ, it is our desire to glorify him in all we do, through song, spoken word, and interaction with fellow youth. Hope to see you there!
