April's A&B:
We at A&B are happy to announce that last night we finally broke 300! It has been a dream of some of ours (quite unrealistic at times) to someday hit 300 people. Well, we did! We'd just like to thank all of you who come for making A&B the great time that it is, and God, for blessing us so richly this year. (and it's not over yet!) Our next goal is 500 ;) so keep inviting your friends!

Drummer Retires:
After more than two years as their drummer, Matt Cox has officially retired from the Above and Beyond Band. Matt was one of the founders of the band and has drummed with it since it's creation. While in the band, Matt performed various tasks and was even the band's leader for a time. His decision to retire came after much prayer and stemmed from the fact that he is planning on leaving the Listowel area this fall. He will be missed by his band-mates. Taking Matt's place as the band's drummer is LDSS student Chris Gascho. Chris attends Milverton Mennonite Church and had been drumming for several years (don't worry, he's good).Matt's retirement came as no surprise and may only be the first in a series of retirements. There are other band members who are planning on leaving the Listowel area come fall. Our biggest need, presently is for a keyboard player (another guitar player would be nice too). If you are interested, see below for more information. New band members needed:
The Above and Beyond band is looking for new members. Many of the current members will be finishing school this year and will not be around come next fall. Although next fall is still a long time from now, we would like to have the new band assembled and established by May. Currently we are looking for: electric guitar, and keyboard players. To be in the band you need to: If you're interesting in joining the band pray about it and then contact us and we'll talk. |
