What is "the committee"? The committee is what makes A&B happen. It is a group of youthleaders and teens who meet once a month to discuss the previous A&B and plan the upcoming one. It is a great way to get involved in Above and Beyond and requires no training or experience! (There are a few qualifications, but they aren't that big) We are bit short staffed at the time being and would really like to see some new faces with new ideas.(Did I mention that voluntary community service looks great on a resume?) Here's what you need to be on the committee:
- Be a Christian to start with
- Be willing to serve God in whatever area He asks you to
- Be a regular or semi-regular attendee of A&B
- Live in or around the Listowel area
- Be able to make it to our monthly meetings
- Be willing to help set up and take down at each A&B
- Agree to take the A&B oath of secrecy (jk)
- You don't need any experience!
